Cruises Inc. is committed to being socially and environmentally responsible across all business units and divisions, as well as encouraging our more than 500 Independent Agents to do the same.

We are proud to share the following green initiatives we have recently undertaken, in order to reduce our collective carbon footprint:

• Moving several of our extensive travel brochures into an electronic format to eliminate paper usage and waste;
• Launching an E-docs program, where cruisers have 24/7 access to their cruise documents in an environmentally-friendly electronic format;
• Implementing a "Lights Out" program, eliminating wasted electricity by requiring all employees to turn out their lights when they are not in the office;
• Replacing Styrofoam cups used by employees and visitors with porcelain coffee mugs and a recycling program for paper, plastic and aluminum;
• Changing all paper reporting processes in our Fort Lauderdale headquarters office to electronic reporting, including sales reports, marketing team updates, media placement reports and time off request forms. A company intranet houses all documents to reduce the need for printing.

As a home based business, Cruises Inc. saves significant resources, including fuel. Our Independent Agents and Cruise Specialists work from home offices, which we believe has an outstanding impact on the environment.

While we realize our green initiative is only just beginning and in small ways, we believe every effort to maintain a green approach to doing business makes an impact. And, we continue to support preferred partners who have, themselves, contributed to the green movement. This includes many top cruise lines who have recently announced new green business practices.

Cruises Inc. will, as our business evolves, continue to evolve our green strategy. The overall goal is to minimize the impact we have on our planet and continue finding new, innovative ways to be responsible citizens of Planet Earth.
