Cruises Inc. has been a member of the International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN) since 1992. IATAN is a non-profit organization that appoints travel agencies and travel agents on behalf of its customer airlines. Their mission is to promote professionalism, administer meaningful and impartial business standards, and to provide cost-effective products and services that benefit the travel industry. Through the use of its informational and other resources, IATAN provides a vital link between the supplier community and the U.S. travel distribution network. IATAN is the link for US based travel agencies to the rest of the world and is a wholly owned subsidiary company of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Through IATAN's relationship with the parent company, the accredited travel agencies become part of the global community of travel agencies, with no effort or expense on their part.
